Use of the CoronaMelder app
The CoronaMelder app has been developed to help fight the spread of coronavirus. The app keeps track of when users have been near one another for a longer period of time and alerts other app users.
From February 2022, many of the corona measures have been discontinued. Self-quarantining after having had contact with a person who tested positive, no longer applies. Having a confirmation test (PCR test) at the GGD is no longer required. This has radically reduced the need for the CoronaMelder app. Therefore the app will be temporarily deactivated from 22 April 2022 onwards. The app no longer exchanges data with other CoronaMelder users or with notification apps from other EU countries. The app can be activated again if the coronavirus situation so requires.
Last values obtained on Thursday, 21 April. Is updated on working days.
