Disability care homes in Utrecht – confirmed cases among residents
People who live in disability care homes are often extra vulnerable to coronavirus infection. Because of this, Municipal health services (GGDs) monitor whether a persons who tests positive for COVID-19 lives in a disability care home. By doing so, measures can be taken if the number of cases in residential care increases. Read more in the explanation of the presented data.

This figure shows the total number of disability care homes that have reported at least one confirmed COVID-19 case, based on a positive test, in the last 28 days. The percentage expresses the share of all disability care homes in the Netherlands with confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Number of new locations per day
This figure shows the number of disability care homes where at least one resident was reported as testing positive for COVID-19. A disability care home is considered to have a new outbreak if there had been no new cases of COVID-19 in the home in the previous 28 days (i.e. twice the length of the incubation period).
