On 26 June the government has taken the fourth step in the opening plan. Additional measures apply as of 10 July and remain in place until 13 August due to the rapidly increasing number of infections.

Current measures

Maximum number of visitors depends on location’s size.
1.5-metre distancing still required.
Face masks must still be worn:
On public transport and other passenger transport.
At stations and airports.
In secondary schools.
Work from home, unless there is no other option.

Restaurants and bars
Closed from midnight.
Assigned seats required.
No live entertainment.
Nightclubs and discos closed.
Events and culture
Assigned seats required.
Maximum duration 24 hours per event.
With coronavirus entry passes: 2/3 capacity allowed; 1.5-metre distancing not required.
1.5-metre distancing not required while participating in sports.
With coronavirus entry passes: more spectators allowed.

You can generate a coronavirus entry pass via the CoronaCheck app or if you have: a negative test result no more than 40 hours old (per 13 July no more than 24 hours old), proof of vaccination or proof of recovery no more than 6 months old.

Stay 1.5 meters away from others.
Avoid busy places.
COVID-19 symptoms? Stay at home.
Get tested as soon as possible.
Make sure to have enough fresh air.
