Where do the numbers come from?

In the Netherlands, mergers or divisions of municipalities often take place. The National Institute for Health and Environment (RIVM) processes municipal reorganizations in the data supplied for the corona dashboard.

How are the numbers calculated?

We adjust the maps on the dashboard to the changed borders. The figures of municipalities that no longer exist, are added to the figures of the municipalities with which they have been merged.
