In the past week, 11% less people were reported with a positive COVID-19 test than the week before. The number of people who were tested increased by 9%. The number of people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 has dropped by 15%. 20% less people with COVID-19 were admitted to ICU than the week before. The reproduction number is still around 1.
In the past week, 15,976 people received a positive test result, 11% less than the week before, when 17,890 people received a positive test result.. The number of positive tests per 100,000 inhabitants decreased from 104 to 94. Last week 169,807 people had themsleves tested, the previous week 155,130, an increase of 9%. The percentage of positive tests in the Municipal Public Health Services (GGD) dropped from 10.8% to 9% (this percentage does not include the tests that were taken in order to be able to travel).
Hospital and ICU admissions
The number of people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 decreased by 15% from 418 to 355 people. 20% less COVID-19 patients were admitted to ICU: 75 people in the past week, compared to 94 people a week earlier.
The reproduction number is still around 1, it is 0.99 to be exact.
