Weekly update corona figures

In the past week, 16% less people were reported with a positive COVID-19 test than the week before. The number of people who were tested decreased by 6%. The number of people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 has dropped by 23%. 18% less people with COVID-19 were admitted to ICU than the week before. The reproduction number is under 1.

Positive Tests
In the past week, 13.347 people received a positive test result. That is 16% less than the week before, when 15.976 people received a positive test result. The number of positive tests per 100,000 inhabitants decreased from 94 to 79. Last week 160.199 people had themselves tested, that is 6% less than the previous week when there were 155,130. The percentage of positive tests in the Municipal Public Health Services (GGD) dropped from 9% to 8% (this percentage does not include the tests that were taken in order to be able to travel).

Hospital and ICU admissions
The number of people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 decreased by 23% from 734 to 287 people. 18% less COVID-19 patients were admitted to ICU: 66 people in the past week, compared to 80 people a week earlier.

Reproduction number
The reproduction number dropped from 0,99 to 0,91 and still under 1.
